Super athlete and all around strongman Alden Penner launches a new world order record - literally - into the la brea tar pits on February 14th, 2023. Lovers will note an event for the occasion involving a discus throw of 250 oil cakes (mini vinyl records) directly into the pits, to be forgotten forever, having never been heard. This is not to be missed sporting event is not to be mist, sending aborted songs back to the earth which birthed them. At 2:30 PM a press statement will be delivered followed by the main event at 3 o'clock. All attendees are encouraged to wear casual sportswear.
